The new Roman Villa archaeological site in M\u00e1laga Centre officially<\/strong> <\/a>opens to the public on March 3rd,<\/strong> revealing a 5th-century Roman villa<\/strong> located beneath the current Carmen Thyssen Museum.

Since then, the work has been continuous: documenting, studying and preserving a Roman villa that remained hidden for centuries beneath the current Carmen Thyssen Museum.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

During the excavation, difficulties arose due to the water table and underground water currents that run through this part of the city<\/strong>.
